About AUA
Avila University Arizona (AUA) is a private nonprofit institution located in Goodyear, Arizona, representing the western expansion of the historic Avila University founded in Kansas City in 1916. AUA is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and approved by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education. The Arizona campus launched in 2024 with a focus on offering affordable, STEM-designated graduate programs tailored to meet the demands of the modern workforce. AUA provides generous scholarships for international students and a hybrid learning format that combines online coursework with minimal on-site requirements.
Day 1 CPT Authorization
Avila University Arizona offers Day 1 CPT for international F-1 students enrolled in its STEM-designated MBA and MSc programs. CPT is not required for graduation but is available from the first day of the program for students who secure employment. Students must complete a CPT Request Form, obtain a formal job offer letter, and receive academic and DSO review before enrolling in the CPT course. AUA offers exclusive scholarships of up to $8,000 for international students, significantly reducing the overall cost of attendance.
